He was a hardscape foreman with PA Landscape Group, Inc., and a graduate of Red Land High School class of 1999. First and foremost, Eugene loved his daughter, Alexis Nicole. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, along with his sister, Katie, spending quality time together attending multiple games each year. Eugene was a member of the pit crew for The Coldren Motorsports 07 racing team with the former Doug Esh, driver and a member of American Legion Post 143 and VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland.
Eugene was born in Camp Hill, the son of Eugene and Carol Lee (Bortner) East of Lewisberry.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Alexis Nicole East and her mother April Miller of Etters; siblings, twin sister Stephanie Michelle East (Shawn Brubaker) of Lewisberry and Katherine Jean Gladfelter (Chad Allen Gladfelter) of Lewisberry; nieces and nephews, Kenneth James Stetler, Mikala Lynn Johnson, Max Lincoln Brubaker, Leah Jean Gladfelter, Logan Anthony Brubaker and Allison Joelle Gladfelter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
