Francis Worley, Jr.

Francis Worley Jr., 82, of New Cumberland, PA passed away on December 18, 2025. A beloved father, brother, grandfather, and cherished friend, he was born on August 8, 1943, in Hanover, PA to the late Francis and Ruth Worley. 

Francis dedicated much of his life to the steel industry, where he proudly worked as a steelman for Bethlehem Steel until his retirement. His career was marked by determination and resilience, attributes that defined his character throughout his life. Francis was a man of many passions. He had a profound love for cars, particularly his cherished 1969 Camaro with its striking grey body and black top. He could often be found tinkering outdoors for hours, finding joy in every little detail from his car to his vegetable garden. 

A collector at heart, Francis amassed a delightful collection of antique toys, each piece reminding him of the fond childhood memories he held dear. In quieter moments, he enjoyed reading the newspaper and trying his luck with scratch-off tickets, providing both entertainment and the thrill of possibility. Each year, Francis delighted in family trips to Cape May, where he recreated the joyful memories of his own childhood with his parents, sharing the beauty of the shore with his children.

A proud father to his son, Francis Worley, and a loving brother to Daniel Worley, Francis was also a devoted grandfather to Nicolas and Olivia Worley. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharen Worley.

A viewing will take place at Parthemore Funeral Home on December 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by burial ceremony Huntington Quaker Meeting House at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
