Frederick A. Hepfer

Frederick “Fred” Hepfer, 59, of New Cumberland, died July 31, 2018, at home. Son of the late Homer and Mary (Murray) Hepfer, Fred was born on November 29, 1958, in Harrisburg.

He was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School (Class of 1976) and worked most of his years at Pizza Hut (Hartzdale Drive location) from which he later retired. In his younger days, he enjoyed bowling and fishing with his sons on the Juniata River in Duncannon; he was also a lifelong Phillies fan.

Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Joanne; two sons, Brent K. Shadle (Lannie), of Palmyra, and Ryne Hepfer (Melissa), of Enola; three grandsons and a granddaughter, Katy.
