George Francis Bradley, age 83, of Camp Hill, passed away on November 21, 2024. He was born in Shenandoah, PA on June 21, 1941 to the late George and Margaret (Sullivan) Bradley. He grew up in Lemoyne, making lifelong friends along the way. George is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High, Class of 1959. Upon graduation, George joined the United States Army and proudly served as a Rifleman. Following his service, he pursued a career in the automotive industry, eventually becoming manager of Service Motor Parts in Shiremanstown. In later years, "Parts George" worked at and eventually retired from Fisher Auto Parts in Mechanicsburg.
George's expertise and passion for antique cars led him to become a member of both the Antique Automobile Club of America and the Blue Moon Cruisers. In his free time, George was known for his skilled woodworking, his love for his treasured '55 Chevy Bel Air, and for the New York Yankees. A proud member of St. Theresa's Church, George found solace and community in his faith.
George is survived by his loving son George (Jeanette Tacka) Bradley, daughter Sherry (James) Nesbitt, step-grandson Jack Nesbitt, and girlfriend, Mary Barton. He is preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, Kerry (Leidy) Bradley and his sister, Aileen Blanc.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10 - 11 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa's at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven in Mechanicsburg directly after mass. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Theresa's Church is requested in George's honor.
