Georgene D. (Northey) Davis

Georgene D. (Northey) Davis, 91, of Fairview Township, died on Monday, January 13, 2020, at Ecumenical Retirement Community, Harrisburg. Daughter of the late George H. and Della (Putachonis) Northey, she was born on June 24, 1928 in Mahanoy City.

She graduated from Frackville High School in June, 1946. She was married on June 24, 1948 to Harvey P. Davis. In August of 2008, Harvey passed away, but the two were able to celebrate 60 years of marriage in June of that year. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lois M. Northey, in 2004.

A public graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, January 17, 2020, in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville – 102 Moreau Road, Frackville, PA 17931.
