Georgetta Appleby

Georgetta Appleby, 85, of Susquehanna Twp., passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was retired from PennDOT. She was a member of Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren, Harrisburg; a charter member of Engelbert Humperdinck Fan Club, Red Hat Society, Sunshine Girls, and TOPS.

She was born July 12, 1928 in Steelton to the late Lazo and Esther (Moldovan) Tosheff. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband Theodore C. with whom she celebrated her sixty-fifth wedding anniversary in April; a son, Michael T. (Wendy) of Columbia, MD; daughter, Loie J. Bosak (David) of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Ryan, Raelyn, and Amber Witmer, Jared Appleby, and Lauren Nicol; and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Tuesday at Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren. Entombment will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
