Gerald W. "Doc" Anderson

Gerald W. “Doc” Anderson, Sr. 93, of Etters died Friday, March 26, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a retired Master Carpenter from the local Carpenters Union. He enjoyed his friends and family; HGTV; ice cream; driving around, looking at houses; and always imagining building his next dream home.

He was born July 27, 1927 in Lewisberry to the late Watts Lake and Elsie (Hoover) Anderson. He was the widower of Carcena L. (Light) Anderson.

He is survived by two sons, Donald Anderson (MaryAnn) of Steelton and Gerald (Jerry) W. Anderson, Jr. (Laurie) of Lewes, DE; daughter, Brenda S. Ressler of Etters; and grandchildren, Cory Eisenhour, Jessica Fetter, Courtney Ressler, Carcen Anderson (Ashley), Emalie-Kiersten Anderson, and Colby Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 3PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Lewisberry Borough Park Building, 501 Market Street, Lewisberry, PA 17339. All of Gerald's family and friends are invited, and lunch will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directed towards the family to help with final expenses.
