Harry R. Mohler Jr., 92, originally of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Country Meadows Retirement Community, Hampden Twp. He was the son of the late Ada (Shuman) and Harry R. Mohler Sr., born on June 10, 1931 in Mechanicsburg.
Born and raised in Mechanicsburg, he would graduate from Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School before serving his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired in 1992 after a decades-long career as an inventory control analyst with IBM, Mechanicsburg.
Harry was a member of the Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302, F&AM, Mechanicsburg, and the Zembo Temple and Scottish Rite Consistory, both located in Harrisburg. He was the oldest living member of the Mechanicsburg Club, and he was a member and lifelong supporter of Washington Fire Co. #1, Mechanicsburg.
Surviving Harry is his daughter, Janet Mohler; and extended family, Allen and Shelley Urich, Tim and Susan Gilbert, Tom and Marty Willard and Paul and Sandy Rodrigo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend, Joyce (Flaig) Mohler (dcd. 2019); and sister, Marjorie Mohler Nailor Eakin.
A public graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, with the Rev. Tom Willard officiating.
