Howard R. Clark, 77, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
He was a member of the first graduating class, 1967, of Red Land High School where he played football and wrestled. He worked as an electrician for over twenty years for Appleton Papers and retired from the Electrical Maintenance Department of Harrisburg International Airport. Howard attended Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill and he was a member of Sunset golf league. He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, all things sports and tinkering in the garage. Howard was also a devoted movie enthusiast including Country Westerns. Above all, he enjoyed his family, especially time with his grandchildren.
He was born May 26, 1948 in New Cumberland to the late Charles W. and Dorothy M. (Froelich) Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Doris R. (Bonner) Clark; children, Jeffrey W. Clark (Alisa) of Lewisberry and Kelly A. Clark Tobin of New Cumberland; siblings, Luther W. Clark (Joanne) of Greenwood, SC, Rosellen E. Dugan of Mountain Home, ID, and Stacey L. Clark (Jackie) of New Cumberland; grandchildren, Casey (Aaron), Kyle (engaged to Alex), and Lauren; great-grandchild, Weston; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 9:30am until funeral services at 10:30am Wednesday, July 23, at Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill. Private burial will follow at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
