J. Silas Mosher

November 6, 1973 — April 15, 2026

New Cumberland

J. Silas Mosher, 52 of New Cumberland died Wednesday, April 15th at his home. He was a loving and devoted father, son and grandson.

He was a graduate of Rappahannock High School and attended HACC. He was a Printer and Past President of Security Saving Systems Printing. After selling SSS Printing, he worked at Hot Frog Printing, Lowes and Oven Industries. He was well regarded everywhere. Silas had a natural mechanical ability, was a handyman who could fix anything, enjoyed golf, woodworking, welding, puzzles, chess, reading, and journaling. Friendly and gregarious, he loved people and animals, and had a passion for learning.

He was born November 6, 1973 in Mechanicsburg.

He is survived by his son, Silas Alexander Mosher of Philadelphia; father, Paul M. Mosher (Jean) of Camp Hill; mother, Carol S. Harnish of Amissville, VA; and beloved companion, Amy Alexander of New Cumberland; brother, Chris; sister, Alison; his previous wife, Ginny; brother-in-law, Tryg; and his beloved nieces Liberty Mosher and Grace Lambert.

He was predeceased by his brother and best friend David Simon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11am Thursday, April 23 at St. Theresa Parish, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland. Committal will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
