James Denton Allen

James Denton Allen, 94, of Enola died Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Ecumenical Retirement Community, Susquehanna Twp.

An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War Era, he was a retired Air Traffic Controller with over Forty years of experience with the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 751 of Enola, and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Enola. James enjoyed hunting and target shooting.

He was born March 28, 1932 in Huntsville, AL to the late Charles B. and Minnie E. (Whitt) Allen. He was the widower of Dora M. (Napoli) Allen whom he married in 1953.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia A. Napoli of Dillsburg; cousin, Catherine Rossnagle of Town Creek, Al; nephew, Lewis A. Napoli (Jayne) of Newport; and several other nephews and nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, July 22nd at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Rd., Enola, PA 17025. Committal will follow at 12:30pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
