Jean L. Snyder

March 14, 1923 — June 28, 2013

Jean L. Snyder, 90, formerly of Lemoyne and Middletown went to be with her Lord Jesus Friday June 28, 2013 at Frey Village.

She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland and the former Harrisburg Organ Club. She was a former crossing guard in Lemoyne.

Jean was musically gifted and an active volunteer in her church and at Frey Village; also being a member of the auxiliary for many years.

She was born March 14, 1923 in Harrisburg to the late Paul R. and Stella (Little) Himmelberger. She was the widow of Elwood D. E. Snyder. She is survived by a son, Larry E. Snyder (Polly) of Lancaster and a daughter, Nancy J. Snook (Denny) of New Cumberland: five grandchildren, Kelly, Shawn, Jody, Erin and Eric; and three great-grandchildren; Matthew, Jayden and Landyn.

Visitation will be held at 10am followed by memorial services at 11am Friday, July 12th at St.Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland. Private inurnment will be Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Township.
