Jeremy A. Cook, 36, of New Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Sanibel Island, FL as a result of an automobile accident.
He was a geological technician with Susquehanna Civil, Inc., York and a graduate of YTI Career Institute, York.
Jeremy was many things. Among them was: avid fisherman, hunter, kayaker, and home improvement guru. He loved music … all kinds. He was an amazing yet humble guitar player.
His intelligence was only surpassed by his lack of fear. He was never afraid to try anything new. When he did not know how to do something, he wasted no time in seeking information on how to do it or make it happen. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable and he had an amazing ability for retaining all of it.
The deep-seated love he had for family and friends was ironclad. He was a committed and tremendous husband to Nikki. Nothing was more important to him than the “Sunshine of his Life”, our daughter, Sailor.
Jeremy was born in Harrisburg, the son of Cathy (Eagan) Malone of Mechanicsburg and Elliot and Sandy Cook of Manchester.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Nicole A. (Uhlig) Cook; daughter Sailor A. Cook; paternal grandmother Margaret Cook of Lemoyne; and siblings, Brittany Cook of Manchester, Calvin Malone of Enola and Jacob Malone of Enola.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, June 21, 2021 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Jeremy’s memory to New Cumberland River Rescue, 1200 Market Street P.O. Box 445 New Cumberland, PA 17070.
