Joann F. Frownfelter

Joann Frownfelter, 92, of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 17, 2024 in Camp Hill, PA. Joann was born in New Cumberland, PA to Joseph Fulmer and Ruth Fulmer. She loved working with her hands - sewing and crocheting, playing cards, bingo and watching gameshows. Joann worked at Williams Grove Speedway in the office for many years and loved watching dirt track races. Joann drove school bus for Miller & Sons Bus Co. and was employed at Freysinger Pontiac. She enjoyed traveling, watching hockey and movies. Joann was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 26 Auxiliary in Dillsburg and South Mountain VFW Post 6771. She was an active member in her church and their women's quilting group. 

Joann is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Steven) Karns; sons, Joel (Patty) Frownfelter, Paul (Ginger) Frownfelter; and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren, Nicole, Adam, Colin, Taylor, and AJ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Tuck" Frownfelter. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Trinity Church of New Cumberland from 9 AM to 10 AM with the funeral to follow immediately. Pastor Arun Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Township, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Trinity Church of New Cumberland.
