John G. Hanna, Jr.

John G. Hanna Jr. 95, of the Church of God Home, Carlisle, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, September 16, 2023, at his residence.

He retired as a commercial loan officer for the former Dauphin Deposit Bank, Harrisburg; a member of VFW Post 6704, Mechanicsburg, American Legion Post 109, Mechanicsburg, and a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #302, (Mechanicsburg). John was born in Shippensburg on February 24, 1928, the son of the late John G. and (Helen) (Henry) Hanna. He was the widower of June Wilson Hanna.

Surviving are his daughter and son, Kathryn J. Weaver (Douglas L.) of York Springs, and J. Scott Hanna of Fayetteville.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
