John J. "Jack" Miller

John J. “Jack” Miller, 75, of Pottstown, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was the son of the late William T. and Rosemary (McCaffery) Miller, born on February 19, 1949, in Lebanon.

Jack was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School, going on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. He spent his career in the maintenance and custodial field, working at a couple different hospitals, including the Lebanon VA Hospital, before retiring from Perkiomen Valley School District, Collegeville. He was a sports fan, faithfully following the Cincinnati Reds and Penn State football.

Surviving are his siblings, William J. “Bill” Miller (Rosalie) of New Cumberland, PA, Edward J. Miller of Litchfield, CT, Ruth Ann Aurentz (Timothy) of Portland, OR, and Jim M. Miller (Wanda) of Mt. Gretna, PA; several nieces and nephews; and two close friends, Robert Hétu and Keith Opperman.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
