Joseph A. Tresco, 64, formerly of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home in Winburne.
Joe was sworn in to Local 520 as a Plumber and Pipefitter on February 9, 1977. Later, in 1996 he went on to be an Apprenticeship Instructor for 17 years before he retired. He began coaching softball in 1996 with intensity only rivaled by coaching football a few years later. He spent the majority of his time coaching with Red Land Midget Football, and before retirement also coached at his alma mater, Red Land High School. After his retirement, Joe relocated to Clearfield County and enjoyed a quiet, rural life with his furry friends, Zeus, Zoey, and Bailey.
Born December 8, 1957 in Wiesbaden, Germany to the late Patrick and Jean L. (Martin) Tresco, Jr., Joe was also proceeded in death by his aunt, Joyce Shade.
He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Jo Musgrove; son, James P. Tresco; grandchildren, Christopher, Bennett, Samuel, and Caralyn; step children, Brad Redmond, Sara Impaglia, Cody Redmond, and Gabby Redmond; step grandchildren, Mya and Liam Redmond; Sister, Barbara Appleman; nephew, Nick Taylor; niece, Nicole Heberle; and spouse, Aliza Telford-Tresco.
Private Committal services will be held at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
