Julia S. Pellish

Julia S. Pellish, 82, of Camp Hill passed away on May 10, 2025. Born on November 25, 1942, in Pottsville, PA, to the late Manuel and Julia (Popish) Alves. 

A dedicated professional, Julia spent many years as an Assistant Manager in the banking industry, with her notable tenure at Harris Savings and Loan in Summerdale. Beyond her career, Julia was an active member of her community, engaging with parishioners at St. Theresa Catholic Church, the Carlisle Eagles Club, and formerly, the Lower Allen V.F.W. Julia's zest for life was fueled by her passions for polka dancing, camping, and boating at Raystown, where she and her husband traveled extensively, reveling in the rhythms of live polka bands. Her spirit radiated joy, especially when surrounded by her beloved children and grandchildren. Julia was a devoted mother to her son, Kerry Pellish Sr. and his wife, Darby; her daughter, Jodie Pellish and son-in-law, Richard White. She cherished her grandchildren: Lance Brennan, Kerry Pellish Jr., Bryant Pellish, and Scarlett White, as well as her great-grandchildren, L.J. Brennan, Ellie Brennan, and Jaxon Pellish. Also surviving are two brothers, John and Manuel Alves and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her beloved husband of 58 years, Eugene Pellish in 2020 and a sister, Laura Dixon. 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa's Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 10 AM followed immediately by burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Compassus Care Hospice.
