Rev. K. David Haring

K. David Haring, age 85, of Lewisberry, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023 at home.

Born on February 6, 1938 in Lewisberry, he was the second son of the late Charles and Alma (Harro) Haring.  Dave worked as a carpenter for Harry L. Smith & Sons Inc.  Dave was the Pastor at Parkville Church of God until his retirement and then attended Christian Life Assembly.

Dave was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord with all his heart and brought many to God.  Dave was a very loving and caring person.  He enjoyed gardening and hunting. He also enjoyed growing produce and pumpkins to sell during the fall season.  Many referred to him as the Pumpkin Man.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam Haring for 68 years; one son, David Haring (Vicky); four daughters, Deborah Caldwell Dobbins (Carl), Diane Heisey (Mike), Donna Herman (Mark) and Denise Haring (Lee); eight grandchildren, Michelle Lloyd, Nicole Rash, David Haring, Michael Heisey, Benjamin Haring, Bradley Caldwell, Alexis Bartlebaugh and Brandon Caldwell; four great-grandchildren, Isla Rash, Khloe Haring, Logan Bartlebaugh and Lucas Cottrell; two brothers, Robert Haring and Daniel Haring; four sisters, Lois Pannebaker, Anna Seifert, Sandra Fogle and Linda Redcay.  He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Herbert Caldwell and Nicholas Bartlebaugh; four brothers, Gerald Haring, Ronald Haring, Cleon Haring and Darvin Haring and two sisters, Ada Fetrow and Sharon Bushman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Emmanuel Cemetery, Pinetown Rd & Rosstown Rd, Lewisberry, PA 17339 where Dave will be laid to rest. The Pastor Denny Sproull of Christian Life Assembly of Camp Hill, PA will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made in Dave's name to Homeland at Home (Hospice), 2300 Vartan Way Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
