Karen L. Davison, 50, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp.
She was a Procurement Specialist for U.S. Security Assistance Command, DDRE, Fairview Twp. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and had a deep devotion to God. Karen loved her family time and enjoyed going on vacations, animals and children.
Karen was born in Cumberland, MD to Shirley (Whitfield) Flook of Camp Hill and the late George Flook.
She is survived by her husband Buddy L. Davison; her son Joshua Tyler Dinterman of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Cheryl Hoke of Manchester, Delinda Schwalm of Dauphin and Sharon Van Hove of Newville; and a brother George “Steve” Flook of Camp Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 12, 2013 in Community United Methodist Church, 16th & Bridge Sts. New Cumberland with the Rev. John F. Rauhut, her pastor officiating. Viewing will be from 9:30 am until 11 Friday in the church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
Memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials & Honors Program, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
