It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen B. Rabena, who left us peacefully on April 3, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on December 17, 1953, to the late Betty (Moody) Rabena and Edward Rabena, Karen brought joy and creativity into the lives of everyone she encountered.
A proud graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Karen furthered her education at York College of the Arts, obtaining an Associate's Degree that reflected her passion for learning and her artistic talents. Throughout her career, she served with dedication where her hard work and commitment were truly appreciated by her colleagues.
Karen was a valued member of the Soroptimist International of the Americas, where she worked to support and encourage women in her community. She showed kindness and care through her involvement in many charitable activities.
A talented artist, Karen, had a deep love for drawing and painting, finding comfort and joy in her creative pursuits. She cherished the moments spent with family, always making time to nurture the bonds that meant so much to her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Camille, and son-in-law, Eric Sisson, and her precious grandson, Ezra Sisson; her devoted son, Justin Miller; her beloved brother, Brian and his wife, Jennifer Rabena.
There will be a memorial service at the Masonic Village Elizabethtown,1 Masonic Dr, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 held on April 16th starting at 10am followed by burial at Rolling Green Cemetery at 12:15pm. All are welcome to join and celebrate a life well lived.
