Kimberly Bowen Massal, 55, of New Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a customer service representative with PHEAA, Harrisburg and a 1983 graduate of Harrisburg Academy, Camp Hill.
Kim always found a way to make people laugh, often quoting the Three Stooges. She was a loyal and fierce friend, and there was little she wouldn’t do for those she loved. Kim loved animals; she rescued 3 dogs and fostered some very young kittens. Many of us enjoyed bottle feeding those tiny little kittens. She never forgot to ask about your furry friends. Kim loved her nieces and nephews and nicknamed most of them. With her husky voice she was affectionately known as Uncle Kim.
Kim’s tip of the day: “don’t sit on the curb on trash day”.
Kim’s passing will leave a big gap in the lives of those who loved her so much. Thank you to everyone along the way who made Kim’s journey a more pleasant one. Kimmy is finally at peace and her pain no longer hurts her.
Kim joins Karen, Dad, Laurie, Mom and many other family members and friends and will watch over us.
If you have a fond memory with Kim, please share with us.
