Linda Syrene Clark of Carlisle, formerly of Millersburg, passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on March 26, 1940, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to the late Syrene (Estilow) Link and Charles Link, Linda lived a life rich with creativity and love. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
A graduate of Bridgeton Senior High School, Linda was known for her warmth and welcoming presence. She loved living in Millersburg, where she created a beautiful, secluded home that offered her peace and solace. Linda treasured the moments spent with friends, often sharing laughter over tea, amidst the beautiful backdrop of the life she adored.
As a lifelong artist, Linda shared her creativity and love of beauty with everyone around her. She enjoyed being part of the art community in Millersburg, where she found inspiration and made many friends. As a dedicated artist she was instrumentally involved with establishing the ‘Gallery on the Square’ in Millersburg. She also loved the ocean and treasured the time she spent with family in Ocean City, New Jersey, where she felt happiest by the water.
Her beloved Sammy, her devoted Shih Tzu, remained by her side throughout her journey, enriching her life with unconditional love and loyalty.
Linda is survived by her cherished children, Thomas (Marian) Clark, Sharon Kapp, and Daniel (Angela) Clark; her grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Kapp, Krista Kapp, Nathan Kapp, Kathryn (Graydon) Turner, Gregory Clark, Morgan (Clayton) Lukes and Noah (Kim) Clark; and her great grandson, Archer John Turner.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Charles D. Clark.
There will be a public viewing on Friday, July 10th, 2026, starting at 10am in the Chapel of Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland PA, 17070. A funeral service will follow immediately after beginning at 11am. Burial will be held privately.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Millersburg Area Art Association, 226 Union Street, Millersburg, PA 17061.
