Linda Jane (Leiser) Springer

Linda Jane (Leiser) Springer, 75, of Mechanicsburg died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Silver Spring Personal Care Home with her family by her side.

A graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and Penn State University, she was a retired Inventory Specialist from Stabler Company, Harrisburg. For the past eight summers, Linda worked for the Harrisburg Area River Boat Society which operates The Pride of the Susquehanna. She loved her time along the river selling ride tickets and meeting new people. Linda was a loving mom and very engaged in her children's activities ranging from coaching their youth soccer and tee-ball teams to chaperoning their marching band trips. She served as the East Pennsboro Township tax assessor for many years and was active with the East Pennsboro Township Republican Association. Linda enjoyed traveling to new places and spoiling her grandchildren. 

Linda was born September 16, 1947 in Harrisburg to the late James Leon and Martha Viola (Henninger) Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Stephen Springer and Conway “Jack” Leiser; brother, Allen Clark; son, Scott Leiser; and brother-in-law, Ronald Leiser.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Stefani Rosenstein (Derrick) of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Jack and Sadie Rosenstein; sister, Lana Clark; sister-in-law, Dolores Leiser; and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 10:00am until the funeral service begins at 11:00am on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Enola. Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
