Linda-Louise C. Bush

With great sadness...

Linda - Louise Bush, 75, passed away on August 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Tess Bush a survived by her siblings, Richard, Steven, and Therese. Linda graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1968 and Bloomsburg State College with a degree in education. She was also a member of the National Guard. Linda worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania beginning in the 1970s and continued her commitment to helping others throughout her career. After retiring from the state, she worked with the Youth Advocate Programs (YAP).

Linda was a devoted caregiver and advocate who always looked out for those who needed someone in their corner. She was an award-winning costumer and talented seamstress who generously volunteered her skills at the Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg and Oyster Mill Playhouse. Linda loved sports, cheering for the Yankees, Notre Dame, and Miami Dolphins. She was an animal lover, especially devoted to her beloved dog, Quinny. She also loved music, particularly Bob Dylan, whom she saw perform more than 100 times.

Linda will be remembered for her caring heart, creativity, generosity, strong spirit, and unwavering devotion to the people and causes she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg on September 19, 2026 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's name to Speranza Animal Rescue and/or the Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg (LTM).
