Lori Long, 65, of Hershey, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She, lovingly known as “Ebby,” passed away surrounded by those who loved her most. A proud graduate of Red Land High School, Ebby lived a life full of warmth, creativity, and adventure.
She found her greatest happiness with her family, with whom she shared endless laughter and love. An avid lover of the outdoors, she could often be found soaking up the sun or swimming—her favorite pastimes. Ebby also had a passion for animals and loved painting to express her vibrant spirit. She never missed a chance to watch WWE wrestling with the family. Lori’s legacy lives on in the memories she created, the love she gave, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She was born October 19, 1959, in Mechanicsburg to the late Charles and Evelyn (Beaverson) Long.
She is survived by three daughters, Amanda Long (Charles) of Hershey, Ashley Jillard (Joshua) of Hershey, and Brittany Jillard (Fabian) of Middletown; five grandchildren, Kailee (Jason), Kyler, Jack, Oliver, and Nikolai; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the discretion of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA.
