Lorraine P. Staufenberg

Lorraine P. Staufenberg, 83, of Mechanicsburg passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

A graduate of Hagerstown Junior College, she became an X-ray Technician and ultimately an Adjunct Professor of Radiology at Hagerstown Junior College. Lorraine valued her faith as a Roman Catholic and most recently attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. Lorraine enjoyed traveling throughout the world, spending time with her family and meeting new people. She was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

She was born June 23, 1942 in Philadelphia to the late Harry and Catherine (Sturm) Weiss. She was the widow of William Charles Staufenberg and also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tim Kline.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanmarie Kline of Mechanicsburg and Donna and Michael Evernham of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Cass Dolan (Ted) of Cape May Court House, NJ and Bun Sides (Dave) of Warminster, PA; grandchildren, Lauren Evernham, Emma Bennett (Tom), and MikeMike Evernham; Great-grandchildren, Lilly, Charley, Layla, Liam, and Delilah; and several nieces and nephews.

Lorraine will be buried next to her loving husband at the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico, VA.
