Luann E. Knudsen

Luann E. Knudsen, 81, of Lower Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2022 in her residence.

She was a retired Real Estate Appraiser with the PA Department of Transportation, Harrisburg. Luann received her Bachelor’s degree through HACC and York College. She was a member of Soroptimist International of the West Shore and enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Luann was born in Wiconisco, PA, the daughter of the late Jacob and Alma (Crabb) Byerly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Byerly and Carl Byerly, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 64 years, Orvest L. Knudsen; children, Kathy L. Parthemore of Mechanicsburg, Karin L. Eichelberger and husband Robert of Camp Hill and Kevin O. Knudsen and wife Sharon of Dillsburg; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
