Margaret M. Marusa Janovich passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the age of 100 years. She was born in Northern Cambria, PA, on March 23, 1925.
As an adult, she lived in Hampton, VA, for over 40 years. For a number of those years, she delivered Meals on Wheels. As a devoted Catholic, she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was very involved with their activities.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, John "J.J." Janovich (d. 2008); and her oldest daughter, Karen Marie Fagelman (d. 2025). She leaves behind a younger daughter, Sharon Harrell, with her significant other, Curtis Jones, in Elk City, OK. She also leaves behind her son-in-law, Dr. Kerry Fagelman, a retired pediatric surgeon in Central Pennsylvania; a grandson, Jeremy Fagelman, with his wife, Lauren; two great-grandsons, Reed and Maddox; as well as a special friend and caregiver, Djenabou Diallo. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Helen Marusa, Ann Marie Janovich and Eleanor Sullivan; and a nephew, Mark. Other surviving relatives include Sandy Bogen, Elaine Gallent, Max Tomayko and John Kopera.
Margaret's services will be private, and she will be laid to rest in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
