Marilyn V. Frey Kreider Kulkin, 89, of Camp Hill died Saturday, August 30, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital with her travel buddy by her side.
Marilyn has moved up to manage the Cosmetics Dept in Heaven. She was a loyal Bon Ton employee to the very end, 61.5 years, beginning at Pomeroy's in Lebanon. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Lebanon. Her grandmother’s Black Bear Inn was a second home in her childhood, where she was known to sing and dance on the bar. Her favorite place was the beach, especially Ocean City, NJ with regular stops at Venturas, Carolines, and Resorts. Her favorite local stop was Gilligan’s on Eisenhower Blvd. Marilyn enjoyed a cocktail in a small glass seated on a bar stool, good company, shopping, collecting jewelry, and porch parties.
She was born August 17, 1936 in Lebanon to the late Allen Peter and Ethel Virgina (Yingst) Frey. She was also preceded by her husband, Joseph Irving Kulkin; son, Paul R. Kreider; and grandmother, Maggie Frey.
She is survived by her chosen family and several good friends: Kathy and Todd Hall of Harrisburg, Kim and Mitch Chronister of York, Michele and Bill Meredith of Williamsport, Glenna and Bobby Lebo of Richland, Fred and Kris Fox and family of Annville, and Tommy and Yvonne Urich of Camp Hill, and many, many more.
