Mark C. Holness

Mark C. Holness, 54, of Mechanicsburg died unexpectedly Friday, February 16, 2024 at his home.  

He was a Product Change Specialist for The Hershey Company and enjoyed his job very much.  Mark graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx then from NYU in 1991.   He was an avid New York Yankee fan and loved anything Marvel and Star Wars.  A chocolate aficionado, he enjoyed his job with The Hershey Company.  He especially got a lot of gratification from helping the homeless and less fortunate and volunteering with The Hershey Company.  Mark was a devoted father and provider.  Mark was very bright, organized, and followed through on commitments.

Mark was born May 3, 1969 in Bronx, NY. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Christopher Holness and brother, Elroy Holness.

He is survived by his wife, Tara Maria Holness; children, Molly E. and Sean E. Holness; mother, Gloria E. Holness of Palm Bay, FL; and sister, Karen Holness also of Palm Bay, FL.

Viewings will be from 5 to 7pm Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th from 9:30 to 10:30 at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Saturday, February 24th at St. Theresa Parish, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
