Martha Conley Page, 102, formerly of Etters, PA died Friday, June 6, 2025, at Spring Arbor
Assisted Living in Fredericksburg, VA. Martha was born to the late Joseph and Mary
Musser Conley of Etters, PA in 1922; her family-of-origin were Old Order River Brethren
"down the Valley Road."
She had four sisters: Susan Rehm, Minerva Fisher, MaryAnn McAllister, and Bertha Wentz,
all of whom predeceased her.
In 1941 Martha married Conrad Page, Jr. Their first daughter, Rosa Mary (Guyler), now of
Fredericksburg, VA, was born in 1943. Soon thereafter, while they were living in
Sacramento, CA, Conrad was deployed to Europe to serve in WWII. Martha then boarded a
train with Rosa in tow to return to her family in Etters to wait out the war.
A year after Conrad's return from the war, their second daughter, Gloria Faye (Wray), now
of Fredericksburg, VA, was born. Their family was complete when their son David Conrad
(of Winchester, MA) was born 10 years later.
Preceded in death by her husband Conrad, Martha is survived by her three children; Rosa
(Jim, now deceased) and their daughters, Christine Guyler and Laura (George) Palaima and
their 3 children; Gloria and her daughters, Lisa (Doug) Cline and their three daughters, and
Janelle (Jason) Basham and their son and daughter; and by David (Elizabeth) Page and their
daughters, Charlotte (Connor) Crane, Julia Page and Lucy Page. She is also survived by
numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha was a decades-long member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church in
Etters, where she served in numerous ministries including teaching Sunday School,
leading crafts at VBS, and Stephen Ministries.
She used her vast creative abilities for sewing, gardening, needlework of all kinds, cooking
and baking. She loved sharing the items she made as well as her abilities with young and
old.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to be held at 11 AM on Saturday,
June 14, 2025, at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church in Etters. All attendees are
invited to stay afterwards for a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.
