Mason Gene Mixell

Mason Gene Mixell, 33, of Harrisburg, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on December 18, 1992, in Harrisburg to his loving parents, Samuel and Lisa Mixell. Mason filled each day of his life with joy, laughter, and a passion for living fully. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

A proud graduate of the Class of 2011 from Cedar Cliff High School, Mason made friends with everyone he met. After school he had a fulfilling career in sales, which he excelled in. His infectious enthusiasm made him not only a skilled professional but also a treasured colleague and friend.

Mason knew how to embrace life to the fullest. A true enthusiast of sports, he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a skilled baseball and football player and cherished the moments spent golfing and at the shooting range, always seeking adventure and new experiences. Mason loved to travel and explore the world around him, he also loved animals.

Mason leaves behind a loving family who will hold onto his memory forever. He is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa Samora; his parents, Sam & Lisa; his brother, Zackary & Jolene; his cherished nephew, Nicholas; his beloved grandmother, Diane; and uncles, Richard and Michael. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Dave Mixell, Jack Arnold and a Charlene Arnold.

A public viewing will take place at Parthemore Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions are requested to Parthemore Funeral Home, Member's 1st #1448633, or Venmo @Samuel-Mixell to help offset expenses in the coming months.
