Matthew Calvin Shults

Matthew Calvin Shults, 48, of Lower Allen Twp. passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 in his residence.

He was a para-legal secretary with Rite Aid Corporation, attended West Chester University and was a 1993 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School where he was active with the Key Club.  Matthew was a history buff who enjoyed reading books and periodicals.  He was a huge sports fan rooting for the Phillies, Rangers and Steelers; he loved music, especially the Beatles; he was fully invested in genealogy research; and he never met a bag of candy he didn’t like.

Matthew was born in Harrisburg, PA, the son of Ann V. (Leiss) Shults of Lower Allen Twp. and the late Robert W. Shults.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Robert W. Shults, Jr. of Renton, WA.

In keeping with Matthews wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Matthew’s memory to the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road Harrisburg, PA 17111.
