Matthew Wayne Campbell, 48, of Camp Hill died unexpectedly June 28, 2022 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was a Senior Programmer/Analyst with Glatfelter Insurance Group, York. A graduate of Halifax High School, he received his Bachelors and Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
To say Matt was kind, patient, and supportive are not just words. Matt embodied these words and all who were fortunate enough to have spent time with him were given a gift. Only now that he is gone one sees what a gift he really was.
Matt took all of his roles in life very seriously. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, however the roles that meant the most to him were husband and Daddy! Matt was a very curious person and he had a great love of the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with Ryan and Jacob creating in the kitchen, teaching them about sports and reading nightly bedtime stories. The thing we miss most about Matt is his loving smile and smiling eyes.
Matthew was born April 11, 1974 in Harrisburg to Wayne and Lois (Enders) Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Laura Rochelle (Massal) Campbell; sons, Jacob Matthew Campbell and Ryan Matthew Campbell; brother Marshall Campbell (Linda) and their daughter, Olivia of Missouri; sister Angela Newhouse (David) and her children Devan Hughes and Andrew Harman of Halifax. Many aunts, uncles, cousins.
