Michael David Mixell
June 4, 1947 — November 30, 2016
Michael David Mixell, 69, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his home.
A Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was retired from the former Foodfair grocery store in Camp Hill. He was a member of VFW Post 7415 New Cumberland, NRA, and lifetime member of New Cumberland River Rescue. He enjoyed model railroading.
He was born June 4, 1947 in Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred E. Mixell.
He is survived by his wife, Diane M. Mixell; father, George S. (Miriam) of Carlisle; three sons, Samuel D. (Lisa), Richard A., and Michael E. all of New Cumberland; a brother, Stephen D. of East Berlin; and two grandchildren, Mason G. and Zackary G. also of New Cumberland
A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with end of life expenses.
