Michael Francis Kinkopf

Michael Francis Kinkopf, 85, of Lower Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, February 19, 2023, at ProMedica, Camp Hill.

He retired from the former Bell Atlantic, Harrisburg, as a service foreman and supervisor; a Marine Corps veteran; a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran; member of the Mechanicsburg Sportsmen’s Protective Association. He was an avid bowhunter, rifle hunter and fisherman, enjoying camping and hiking throughout Pennsylvania and travelling with his wife of over 60 years.

Born on June 24, 1937, in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Franklin P. and Agnes A. (Merrick) Kinkopf. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Kinkopf.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Jo (Ross) Kinkopf; his son and his wife, Michael P. and Julie Kinkopf of Havertown; three grandchildren, Matthew, James and Catherine.

Visitation will be held from 10 - 11 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with a memorial service to follow immediately at 11 AM with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Final place of rest will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. at 1 PM that day.
