Michael Shimer Howsare

Michael Shimer Howsare, 79, of New Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.

He was the retired Manager of SAC, Inc., Limekiln Rd. New Cumberland. Mike enjoyed golfing, woodworking, building bird houses, and in his younger days, you could count on him to be the life of the party. He had a big heart and was always ready and willing to lend a hand when someone needed it.

Mike was born in Bedford, PA, the son of the late Floyd and Laura (Boring) Howsare.

He is survived by his children, Brandon Howsare and wife Briana, Michael Howsare and Pamela Casey; a brother Timothy Howsare; and grandchildren, Benjamin, Brinley and Brody.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Mike’s memory to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110.
