Mildred S. Trayer, 95, of New Cumberland, PA, passed away on June 3, 2026. Born on March 14, 1931, to the late George and Constance (Taleff) Stoiancheff.
A proud member of the 1949 graduating class of the former Steelton High School, Mildred embraced life with passion and dedication. She then embarked on a rewarding career as a Senior Clerk at Bell Telephone in Harrisburg, from which she eventually retired.
Mildred was an active member of her local community. She was deeply involved with St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, former member of Holy Annunciation Macedonian Bulgarian Orthodox Church, in Steelton. She shared her love for square dancing with her late husband, Bill, and was a proud participant in the New Cumberland Woman's Club. A woman of style and grace, Mildred was known for her impeccable fashion sense and her love of music, bowling, and collecting stunning earrings.
Mildred leaves behind two nieces, Belinda and Maria Stoiancheff; and dear friend and neighbor, Linda and Hank Folmer. She is reunited in heaven by her parents; beloved husband, William Trayer, III; brother, Boris Stoiancheff; and sister-in-law, Vera Stoiancheff.
A viewing will be held on June 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
