Miriam E. Fencil

Miriam E. Fencil, 95, of The Woods at Cedar Run, Camp Hill and formerly of New Cumberland and Bethlehem passed away Saturday at Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was a graduate of Central Penn Business College and a former employee of Bell of PA, Harrisburg. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland Woman’s Club, New Cumberland Olde Towne Assn., and New Cumberland Golden Age Club. She enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes.
She was born May 30, 1918 to the late William H. and Cora Frances (Brown) Erney. She was the widow of William Dean Fencil.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Fencil (Barbara) of Eldersburg, MD; a daughter, Suzanne L. Taylor (Philip) of Newberry Twp.; niece, Patricia Fromme (John) of York; grandniece, Lynn Craker, great-grandnephew, Kyle Craker; three grandchildren, Amy Hedden, Stacy Taylor, and James Fencil; and a great-grandson, Jackson Hedden.
Visitation will be held at 10am followed by memorial services at 11am Saturday, July 6 at Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. Inurnment will follow in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 421 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
