Myrtle Louise Beeghley

Myrtle Louise Beeghley, 88, of Harrisburg died Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township with her family by her side.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, she loved reading James Patterson books, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She was born October 17, 1937 in Scottdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel E. Beeghley; parents, Owen Richard and Dorothy (Thrasher) Love; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Samuel R. Beeghley (Terry) of Westminster, MD, Randall L. Beeghley (Mardi) of Dunbar, and James R. Beeghley (Kim) of Harrisburg; brothers, Richard Love and Larry Love (Barb) both of Scottdale; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Private interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
