Nelson Day

Nelson Day, 89, of Harrisburg died Tuesday, August 19th at Select Medical Hospital, Harrisburg.

A Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Transportation Specialist from the IT Department at Defense Logistics Agency at Susquehanna. He enjoyed golf in his younger years and spending time with his friends at Forty & Eight in Harrisburg.

He was born April 13, 1936 in Indiana, PA to the late Janet Day and was also preceded in death by his son, Mike Day.

He is survived by his children, Denise Fink of York Haven, Cindy Day (Richard Levine) of Mechanicsburg, and Tom and Dan Day both of Lewisberry; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Private inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp
