Patricia A. Schankweiler

Patricia A. Schankweiler, 86, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, with her family by her side.
She was born April 2, 1936 in Shamokin, PA, to the late William and Genevieve (Gallagher) Wilson. She was the widow of Glen J. Schankweiler.

Pat enjoyed 48 years together with Glen. They started dating in 9th grade and were married when they were 21. They raised three children and enjoyed entertaining, traveling and spending time at their second home in Florida. Pat was known for her holiday meals, her baking and making birthdays, holidays and beach vacations a special time for Diane, Dave and Scott.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Gehret (Gregg) of Hummelstown, two sons, David Schankweiler (Donna) of Harrisburg and Scott Schankweiler (Angela) of Middle River, MD; a brother, William Wilson of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren, Talia Keiser, Corinn Horvat, Jordan Schankweiler, Tanya Spiece (Joshua), Kate Browne (Patrick), Brandon Schankweiler, Parker Schankweiler, Cullen Polesne, Devon Schankweiler, and Drew Schankweiler; and ten great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family followed by entombment in Rolling Green Cemetery.
