Patricia Ann Herman, 92, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026 surrounded by family. Born on September 27, 1933, in Sunbury, PA, to the late Harry M. and Lillian (Neitz) Troup. Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who embraced life with warmth, humor, and an unwavering love for her family.
She was a 1952 graduate of Sunbury High School. She married her beloved late husband, George T. Herman on January 14, 1956. Patricia worked at Delta Dental for many years as a receptionist. In early years, she loved spending time boating, fishing and traveling, making memories that will forever be cherished by her family.
Patricia enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and enjoyed watching NFL football, especially the Steelers and the Chiefs. She was also a fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions. She cherished family gatherings, and her home was always the center of warmth and comfort. In her later years, Patricia enjoyed listening to audio books and watching her favorite TV shows, including Westerns and “Murder, She Wrote”.
Patricia is survived by her son, Mark (Donna) Herman, and daughter, LeAnn (Tim) Langletz, as well as her grandchildren Nicole (Chris Mollett) Rash, Timothy (Brittany) Langletz, and Heather (Eric) Flook. She leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Isla Rash, Jaxson Flook, Hannah Flook, and Colton Langletz, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Harry Troup, Jr., William Troup, Lois Kline, Jeanette Schlieg, Nancy Gelnett, Barbara Troup, and Phyllis Troup.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Dente for her compassionate care and to Encompass Health in Mechanicsburg as well as the Woods at Cedar Run for their unwavering support during Patricia's final days.
A visitation will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10 AM until the start of the funeral at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Emanuel Cemetery in Lewisberry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the York County SPCA. 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 or a charity of your choice.
