Patricia L. Santeusanio

January 30, 1932 — June 12, 2025

Lemoyne, PA

Patricia L. Santeusanio, 93, formerly of Lemoyne, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg. Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Timblin and Edward Lewis.

She was a graduate of Steelton High School, Class of 1950, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University. Pat taught at Steelton Main Elementary for 28 years, loving each one of her students, regardless of race or religion. She made an impact on all those around her and would continue to do so even after her retirement from teaching in 1992. She was instrumental with Meals on Wheels, delivering meals to the elderly in the wider community and acted as a coordinator for years.

Pat was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, where she took on the role of area representative and taught Sunday School at the pre-school level. She was a planner and meticulous in all aspects of life; her flower beds were perfectly manicured, and the interior of her home was always spotless. If she wasn’t working, helping others, or caring for her home, you could find her playing a game, gardening or reading.

She enjoyed traveling and would end up visiting every continent except South America and Antarctica. But vacations with her family were her favorite. Whether it was summer vacations to Stone Harbor, NJ, or Rehoboth Beach, DE, Pat made it a point to create memories with her family and spend time with them away from the distractions of their typical busy lives. Though her career and volunteer work focused on others, her own family meant everything to her. Nothing made Pat happier than watching her family grow, and her love for them was evident every day of their lives.

She is survived by her son, Michael Santeusanio (husband, Kerry Vrabel); daughters, DeeAnn Biller, and Dana Rapsey; six grandchildren, Darby Burnell (husband Chris Burnell), Matthew Biller (wife, Andrea), Sean Biller (wife, Jill), Shane Rapsey (wife, Allie), Tyler Rapsey (wife, Karyn), and Carli Rapsey; and ten great-grandchildren, Finley and Hudsyn Burnell, Raegan and Gavin Biller, Colin and Carter Rapsey, Coleston Rapsey, and Theo Lee Biller.

A visitation will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 10AM until a memorial service begins at 11AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Patricia’s name to Meals On Wheels – West Shore, 421 Deerfield Road, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
