Raymond E. Brinkman

Raymond Eugene Brinkman, age 78, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring with distinction as a Sergeant Major (E-9) after nearly 27 years of honorable service. He entered active duty on July 9, 1965, and retired on February 29, 1992. His final duty station was Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania.

Raymond married the love of his life, Nam Sun Brinkman, and together they shared 54 years of marriage, building a life rooted in commitment, perseverance, and family.

Raymond is survived by his devoted wife, Nam Sun Brinkman; his children, Sue Ann Heid (Thom Heid), Elaine Brinkman, and Clifford Brinkman (Kristen Brinkman); and his grandchildren, Zachary Heid, Madison Heid, Jewel Henry, Arianna Brinkman, and Scarlett Brinkman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Brinkman, and his mother, Ruth Christian.

A viewing will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:30 AM until the start of the funeral at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery where Military honors will be rendered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests doantions be made to Paws of War.

Raymond will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
