Robert J. Krone

Robert J. “Bob” Krone, 64, of Etters died Friday, September 13, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

A 1973 graduate of Red Land High School, he was a CADD Technician for 46 years for Gannett Fleming, Inc. A model train lover, he enjoyed building train tracks with his grandson, being wrapped around his granddaughter’s finger, fishing, and was a lifetime Packers fan. He participated as a coach and volunteer for his children’s sports and most recently baseball for his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; two sons, Mike and Jeff of Etters; daughter Amy (Alex) of Harrisburg; mother, Anna of Dillsburg; sister, Betty Hake of Mechanicsburg; nephew, Steve Hake (Candy) of Mechanicsburg; and two grandchildren, Damian and Jadynn.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland followed by interment at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp. Reverend Kyle Sahd will officiate.

Viewings will be from 5 to 7pm Wednesday and 10 to 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
