Robert Allen Sheaffer

Robert Allen Sheaffer, 77, of Harrisburg, PA passed away on February 3, 2025. He was born on April 14, 1947, in Lewistown, PA to the late Warren Rice and Eleanor A. (Miller) Sheaffer.

Robert was not only a proud Army Vietnam Veteran, but he also embraced life with boundless enthusiasm. He was known for his remarkable skills as a roofer in the construction industry, where he contributed his talents to many projects throughout his career. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid supporter of Penn State Volleyball, cheering on the team with the same passion he brought to all aspects of his life. Robert was a free spirit, he lived his life as he wished. He was unselfish, helpful and generous to his many friends.

He is survived by his brother, John (Glenda) Sheaffer; sister, Sara Golden; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by 4 brothers, Glenn, Neil, Warren, and Ronald Sheaffer and one sister, Anna Grace Ahlquist.

Services will be held privately at Indiantown Gap. In honoring Robert's spirit of giving and love of country, donations to Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
