Robin Cathleen Reedy of Lemoyne, PA passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the age of 80. She was born in Washington State on October 8, 1945, but spent most of her childhood in Glenwood Landing, NY. After graduating from North Shore High School in Glen Head, NY in 1963, she attended Case Western Reserve University where she met her husband, Dr. Michael T. Reedy, DDS. Robin and her husband eventually made their home in the Harrisburg area, where they raised their three children.
Robin was an enthusiastic nature lover, meticulously maintaining beautiful flower gardens and patio areas. Robin also enjoyed gourmet cooking, hiking, traveling, and watching Ravens football. Among all of her hobbies, the most remarkable was her immense love of animals. Over the years, Robin raised and cared for dogs, cats, exotic birds, chinchillas, ferrets and more. Her true passion; however, was volunteering to train service dogs with the Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) in Grantville, PA. She made a special bond with many of the dogs in training, and in particular, her beloved Alladin always held a special place in her heart. She leaves her lasting legacy through her contributions to SSD and coordinating the construction of the Robin C. Reedy Dog Training Center.
Robin was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Michael T. Reedy, DDS and daughter, Dr. Erin K. Reedy, DDS. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Brian K. Reedy, MD (Sarah) and Dr. Christian M. Reedy, DDS (Melinda), along with her sister, Randy Blaun and grandchildren Connor, Liam (Emily), Charlotte, Griffin, and Trevor. Robin is also survived by her two cats (Leo and Suri), who she adored.
A private burial will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susquehanna Service Dogs, 1078 Gravel Hill Rd., Grantville PA 17028.
