Ronald D. Emery

Ronald D. Emery, 69, of Silver Spring Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.

He retired as a Database Administrator for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Human Services, Harrisburg. Ron enjoyed golfing, skiing, and being with his family. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers game every week. You could find him almost every week watching a movie, one of his favorites being Casablanca.

Born in Pittsburgh on November 4, 1953, he was the son of the late Alfred W. and Dolores E. (Forwark) Emery. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elaine S. Kennedy.

Surviving is his son, Shane M. Emery of Van Nuys, CA; his daughters, Jaclyn E. Emery of and Rachel G. Emery, both of Mechanicsburg; his companion, Laura L. Fry; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.. The family will receive family and friends at Nick's 114 Cafe, 114 Bridge St., New Cumberland, immediately following the service.
